3、asiertocompareprices;andtheroleofChinaandotherburgeoningindustrialpowerswhoselowlaborcostshavedrivendownpricesformanufacturedgoods.Theone-twopunchofcyclicalandnewerfactorshaserodedcorporatepricingpowerandforcedfrustratedmanagerstolookineverydirectionforwaystoholdtheline.I

4、nsuchanenvironment,managersmightthinkitmadtotalkaboutraisingprices.Yetnothingcouldbefurtherfromthetruth.Wearenottalkingaboutraisingpricesacrosstheboard;quiteoften,themosteffectivepathistogetpricesrightforonecustomer,onetransactionatatime,andtocapturemoreofthepricethatyoua
