6、process,wheretogetsuperfineferritegrains,itshouldformtheinitialaustenitegrainsmoothduringtheheatingprocess.Austenitegrainsizeatthebeginningoftheheatingprocessisimportantinordertoobtainthesizeofthefinalmicrostructurethatprovidesmaximummechanicalproperties.Inthi

7、sstudy,HSLAsteelreheatedtoatemperatureof960oC,1060oCand1120oCwithholdingtimevariationof10,30and60minutesataheatingrateof5°C/minute,7.5oC/minuteand10°C/minute,thenwaterquenching.TheaustenitesawbyusingopticmicroscopeandcountbyASTME112method.Fromtheresultsitiscon

8、cludedthatthereisarelationshipbetweentemperaturesinterrelatedheating,heatingrateandholdingtimeonthegrowthofaustenitegrain.Thehigherthetemperature,theheatingoccuraustenitegrainsize.
