2、asbeenadoptedatthe25thexecutivemeetingofthepresidentofthePeople'sBankofChinaonNovember6,2006,areherebypromulgatedandshallgointoeffectasofJanuary1,2007.PresentofthePeople'sBankofChina,ZhouXiaochuanNovember14,2006ProvisionsonAnti-moneyLaunderingthroughFinancialInsti
3、tutionsArticle1Withaviewtopreventingmoneylaunderingactivities,regulatinganti-moneylaunderingsupervisionandadministrationactsandanti-moneylaunderingworkoffinancialinstitutions,andmaintainingthefinancialorder,thepresentProvisionsareformulatedaccordingtotheAnti-money
4、LaunderingLawofthePeople'sRepublicofChina,LawofthePeople'sRepublicofChinaonthePeople'sBankofChinaandotherrelevantlawsandadministrativeregulations.Article2ThepresentProvisionsshallbeapplicabletothefollowingfinancialinstitutionsestablishedwithintheterritoryofthePeop
5、le'sRepublicofChinaaccordingtolaw,(1)commercialbanks,urbancreditcooperatives,ruralcreditcooperatives,postalsavingsagencies,policybanks;(2)securitiescompanies,futuresbrokeragecompanies,fundmanagementcompanies;(3)insurancecompanies,insuranceassetmanagementcompanies;
6、(4)affianceinvestmentcompanies,financialassetmanagementcompanies,financecompanies,financialleasingcompanies,autofinancingcompanies,currencybrokeragecompanies;and(5)otherfinancialinstitutionsdeterminedandannouncedbythePeople'sBankofChina.ThepresentProvisionsregardi
7、ngtheanti-moneylaunderingsupervisionandadministrationthroughfinancialinstitutionsshallbeappliedtoinstitutionsundertakingforeignexchange,paymentandsettlementbusinessesandsaleoffunds.Article3ThePeople'sBankofChinashallbetheadministrativedepartmentforanti-moneylaunde
