2、landintheearlypartofthel8thcentury．ThomasAlvatheyoungestofSamuel'ssevenchildrenwasbornin1847.　　Thomaswasanunusuallycuriouschild．Evenatanearlyagehelovedtoreadandmakeexperiments．Becausehewassodreamyandquietateacheronceaccusedhimofbeingstupid．Thomas'smotherwassodisp

3、leasedbythisremarkthatshetookhersonoutofschoolandneversenthimback.Shetookchargeofhiseducationherselfandtaughthimreadinghistoryscienceandphilosophy．Edisonwasaveryquickreaderandherememberedeverything．Oncehegottheideaofstartingatthefirstshelfofalargelibraryandreadin
