3、Guen,MD,participatinginstitutioninaccordancewiththeFrenchlawonepidemiologicstudies.Allsubjects(andtheparentsofminorsIsabelleHau-Rainsard,MD,¶GeorgesPicherot,MD,18years)wererequiredtogivetheirverbalconsenttoLoı¨cDePontual,MD,#Jean-LouisStephan,MD,PhD,**participateinthestu
4、dy.Patientswithanunderlyingimmunode-andPhilippeReinert,MD,PhD¶ficiency,aninfectiousdisease,orhavingreceivedabloodtrans-Abstract:Measlesantibodytitersweremeasuredin210Frenchfusionwereexcluded.women.Ninety-fourpercenthadprotectivevalues(120mIU/mL).Serummeasles-neutralizingantib
5、odiesweremeasuredatGeometricmeantitersweresignificantlydifferent(P0.001)betweentheVirusReferenceDepartmentoftheCentreforInfectionsofwomenbornbeforeandafter1983,whenmeaslesvaccinationwastheEnglishHealthProtectionAgencybytheplaquereductionrecommended(731and1358mIU/mL,respective
6、ly).geometricmeanneutralizationreferenceassay,accordingtointernationalstan-titersin4agecohortsdecreasedsignificantly(P0.001)withincreas-dardoperatingprocedures.Theprotectionthresholdwasdefined6ingbirthyear.Thesedatamayhelpidentifytheappropriateageforas120mIU/mL.infantvaccinat
