4、NAvirusesanddistantlyrelatedtothefamilyofcellularpapain-likeproteasesispresented.Ahighlevelofsimilaritywasdetectedbetweentheleaderprotcascoffoot-and-mouth-diseasevirusandtheproteaseofmurinehepatitiscoronaviruswhichcleavestheN-terminal~28proteinfromthepolyprotcin.Statisticallysign
5、ificantalignmentofaportionoftherubellaviruspolyproteinwithcellularpapain-likeproteascswasobtained,lasdingtotentativeidentificationofthepapain-likeprotcaseastheenzymemediatingprocessingofthenon-structuralproteinsofthisvirus.Specificgrouplygbetweenthesequencesoftheproteasesofcr-vir
