4、ncernedoneightsmall—scale(sinailcatchments)modelsandYan’anMeso—scalemodelintheLoessHillyRegion．Toevaluatetheenvironmentalandsocioeconomicimpactsofthesemodels．theirvaliditieswereexaminedusingtheparticipatoryruralappraisal．TheresultsindicatedthatSWCandecologicalrestorationatdifferentsca
