4、sexistingwithinthegap.[1]EDMisaformofmetalremovalinwhichpulsatingdirectcurrentisappliedtoashapedtool(electrode)andaworkpiece,bothofwhicharecapableofconductingelectricity.Thetwoareheldclosetoeachotherwithanon-conductingfluidservingasaninsulatorbetweenthem.Whenavoltagehighenoughtobreakdownthe
