1、SUMMARYThemigrantworkersareproductsofsocialdevelopmentrouteandpolicychangesofourcountry.Withthegenerationalchange,thenewgenerationofmigrantworkershasgraduallybecomethemainforceofmigrantworkers.Asthethirdsocialpartexceptruralresidentsandurbanresidents,thenewgenerationofmigrantworkersoccupiesahigher
2、marketcapacity,andtheycontainhugeconsumptionpotential.Ithasgreatsignificancestostudyontheirconsumerbehavior.Thisisanempiricalstudyonthenewgenerationofmigrantworkers’consumerbehavior,basedonthesurveyofLanzhouwithnewgenerationofmigrantworkers,byusingqualitativeresearchandquantitativeresearch.Wefound
3、thatthenewgenerationofmigrantworkershasyoungerage,highereducationlevelandhighunmarriedproportion.Theyhavelessfarmingexperienceandrichworkingexperience,andmostofthemchooselocalemployment.Theyalwaysgivehighdegreestocitylife,andtheyhavestrongdesiresofenteringcitiesandpaylotsattentionstotheirowndevelo
4、pment.Thenewgenerationofmigrantworkers’consumerbehaviorshowsthefollowingcharacteristics:theconsumptionpercentageismuchhigherthansavings,survivalconsumptionisthedominantpartandhasgraduallydevelopedintoenjoymentanddevelopmentconsumption,thewayofconsumptionismultiple,theconsumptionconceptismodernized
5、andurbanized.Thefollowingproblemsexistinthenewgenerationofmigrantworkers’consumerbehavior:themajorityofthegenerationisstillsurvivalbasedconsumers,withoutmuchluxuryandrecreationaldevelopmentconsumption;payingtoomuchattentiontoimmediateinterests,ignoringlonginterestsandlackingofdevelopmentconsumptio
6、n;theirconsumptionconceptisoverlytraditionalandtheirconsumptionsarenotwellplanned;poorawarenessofconsumerrights.Thenwemakeanempiricalanalysisontheinfluencingfactorstothenewgenerationofmigrantworkers’consumerbehavior.Itshowsthatthefollowingresults:incomelevelisthemostimportantandbasicinfluencingand
