3、landLatin,mathematics,history,andbotany.LifeDickinsonprovedtobeadazzlingstudentandin1847,thoughshewasalreadysomewhatofa‘homebody’,attheageofseventeenEmilyleftforSouthHadley,MassachusettstoattendtheMountHolyokeFemaleSeminary.Shestayedtherelessthanayearandsomeofthetheoriesastowhysheleftarehomesickn
