2、ieNQTs)andthosewho25/25arethesubjectofcapabilityprocedures.PURPOSEThispolicysetsouttheframeworkforaclearandconsistentassessmentoftheoverallperformanceofteachersandtheheadteacherandforsupportingtheirdevelopmentneedswithinthecontextoftheschool'simprovementplanandtheirownprofessiona

3、lneeds.Whereteachersareeligibleforpayprogression,theassessmentofperformancethroughoutthecycleagainsttheperformancecriteriaspecifiedinthestatementwillbethebasisonwhichtherecommendationismadebythereviewer.Thispolicyshouldbereadinconjunctionwiththeschool'spaypolicywhichprovidesdetai

4、lsofthearrangementsrelatingtoteacher'spayinaccordancewiththeSchoolTeachers'PayandConditionsDocument.25/25LINKSTOSCHOOLIMPROVEMENT,SCHOOLSELFEVALUATIONANDSCHOOLDEVELOPMENTPLANNINGTocomplywiththerequirementtoshowhowthearrangementsforperformancemanagementlinkwiththoseforschoolimprov

5、ement,schoolself-evaluationandschooldevelopmentplanningandtominimiseworkloadandbureaucracytheperformancemanagementprocesswillbethemainsourceofinformationasappropriateforschoolself-evaluationandthewiderschoolimprovementprocess.Similarly,theschoolimprovementanddevelopmentplanandthe

6、school'sselfevaluationformarekeydocumentsfortheperformancemanagementprocess.Allreviewersareexpectedtoexplorethealignmentofreviewees'objectiveswiththeschool'sprioritiesandplans.Theobjectivesshouldalsoreflectreviewees'professional25/25aspirations.CONSISTENCYOFTREATMENTANDFAIRNESSTh
