1、Unit 8 Is there a post office near here?教材分析 本单元以The neighborhood为话题，主要学习词汇：post office、police station、hotel、restaurant、bank、hospital、 street、pay phone、town、neighborhood(places); across from、in front of、behind、north、on the rightleft、crossing、around等，通过教学使学生能在街上用英语问路并为他人指路，并且了解在日常交际中如何得体地运用英语语言向别

2、人问路。通过运用简单的问路和指路的交际用语，帮助同学树立自信心，学会相互合作，敢于用英语进行交际，同时也培养学生乐于助人的品质。 教学目标： 1. 熟练掌握与话题相关的常用词汇与表达,能在街上用英语问路并为他人指路。（Ask for and give directions on the street） * Where isare „? * Can you tell me how to get to „? * Is there„ near here? * Go down/along this road. * Take the first turning on your right. *
