1、UniformCustomsandPracticeforDocumentaryCredits,UCP600(ICCPublicationNo.600).Article1ApplicationofUCPTheUniformCustomsandPracticeforDocumentaryCredits,2007Revision,ICCPublicationno.600(“UCP”)arerulesthatapplytoanydocumentarycredit(“credit”)(including,

2、totheextenttowhichtheymaybeapplicable,anystandbyletterofcredit)whenthetextofthecreditexpresslyindicatesthatitissubjecttotheserules.Theyarebindingonallpartiestheretounlessexpresslymodifiedorexcludedbythecredit.Article2DefinitionsForthepurposeoftheseru

3、les:Advisingbankmeansthebankthatadvisesthecreditattherequestoftheissuingbank.Applicantmeansthepartyonwhoserequestthecreditisissued.Bankingdaymeansadayonwhichabankisregularlyopenattheplaceatwhichanactsubjecttotheserulesistobeperformed.Beneficiarymeans

4、thepartyinwhosefavouracreditisissued.Complyingpresentationmeansapresentationthatisinaccordancewiththetermsandconditionsofthecredit,theapplicableprovisionsoftheserulesandinternationalstandardbankingpractice.Confirmationmeansadefiniteundertakingoftheco

5、nfirmingbank,inadditiontothatoftheissuingbank,tohonourornegotiateacomplyingpresentation.Confirmingbankmeansthebankthataddsitsconfirmationtoacreditupontheissuingbank’sauthorizationorrequest.Creditmeansanyarrangement,howevernamedordescribed,thatisirrev

6、ocableandtherebyconstitutesadefiniteundertakingoftheissuingbanktohonouracomplyingpresentation.Honourmeans:a.topayatsightifthecreditisavailablebysightpayment.b.toincuradeferredpaymentundertakingandpayatmaturityifthecreditisavailablebydeferredpayment.c

7、.toacceptabillofexchange(“draft”)drawnbythebeneficiaryandpayatmaturityifthecreditisavailablebyacceptance.Issuingbankmeansthebankthatissuesacreditattherequestofanapplicantoronitsownbehalf.Negotiationmeansthepurchasebythenominatedbankofdrafts(drawnonab

8、ankotherthanthenominatedbank)and/ordocumentsunderacomplyingpresentation,byadvancingoragreeingtoadvancefundstothebeneficiaryonorbeforethebankingdayonwhichreimbursementisdueto(tobepaidthenominatedbank.Nominatedbankmeansthebankwithwhichthecreditisavaila
