4、andthendevelopedbynumerousotherpeople.Minimalpair:Whentwodifferentformsareidenticalineverywayexceptforoneshouldsegmentwhichoccursinthesameplaceinthestrings,thetwosoundcombinationsaresaidtoformaminimalpair.Morphology:thestudyofword-formation,ortheinternalstructu
5、reofwords,ortherulesbywhichwordsareformedfrom.Compound:referstothewordsthatconsistofmorethanonelexicalmorphemeorthewaytojointwoseparatewordstoproduceasingleform,suchasclassroom,mailbox,fingerprint,sunburn.Intermsofthewordclassofcompounds,thereareNouncompounds(e
