5、kestheannouncementsinrealtimeandwhichpermitstheinclusionofspecificinformationrelatingtoaparticularcallorsituation.Thiscanbedonebystoringwordsorpartsofwordswhichcanbeappropriatelyassembledtomakeuptherequiredannouncements.Thesearecalled“concatenated-word”announcements.Anotherapproachistousetrulysy

6、ntheticspeech(synthesis-by-rule),generatedinrealtime,toproduceannouncementsasrequired.Thisavoidstheneedtostorerepresentationsofutterancesbyanaturalspeaker,andhastheadvantageoftotalflexibilityintheannouncementthatcanbeproduced.2Contentofannouncements2.1Announcementsshouldnotcommencewithasignifica
