3、gprocess,workingmemory,greateffect.BaddeleyandHitch(1974)claimedthatthefunctionofaparticularmechanismmakesagreatcontribution.Workingmemory,workingmemoryisnotonlythestorageofinformation,butalsoforthealsodescribedasshort-termmemorybyBaddeleyandHitch(1974),isprocessingoftheinformation
4、.Morerecentresearchhasfoundthatinvolvedinthetemporaryprocessingandstorageofinformation.Workingworkingmemoryisalsoastorageof“partialresultsincomplexsequentialmemoryconsistsofthreecomponents,thecentralexecutive,thecomputations”(Just&Carpenter,1992,pp.123),suchaslanguagephonologicallo
5、opandthevisuo-spatialsketchpad.Itsfunctionsincludecomprehension.Inthefieldofworkingmemory,twomodelsoflanguagetheregulationofinformationflowwithinworkingmemory,theretrievalofcomprehensionhavebeengreateffectsinactivatingpsychologicalinformationfromothermemorysystems,suchaslong-termme
6、mory,andresearch.ClarkandClarke(1977)confirmedamajorroleforworkingtheprocessingandstorageofinformation(Gathercole&Baddeley,1993).memoryinthefour-stepmodeloflanguagecomprehension.ThefirststepAnothertwocomponents,thephonologicalloopandvisuo-spatialinvolvestheconstructionofaphonologic
