2、efriendsandneighborstryingtogettheirlivesbackontrack・Weare,however,ridingafewmonthsofeconomicnewsthatsuggestsourrecoveryisgainingtraction.Andourmostimportanttasknowistokeepthatrecoverygoing.AsPresident,that'smycommitmenttoyou:todoeverythingIcantomakesureoureconomyisgrowing,creatingjo
3、bs,andstrengtheningourmiddleclass.ThaTsmyresolutionforthecomingyear.Still,evenasweworktoboostoureconomyintheshort-term,it'stimetomakesomeseriousdecisionsabouthowtokeepoureconomystrong,growing,andcompetitiveinthelongrun.Wehavetolookahead一notjusttothisyear,buttothenext10years,andthenex
4、t20years.Wherewillnewinnovationscomefrom?Howwillweattractthecompaniesoftomorrowtosetupshopandcreatejobsinourcommunities?Whatwillittaketogetthosejobs?Whatwillittaketoout-competeothercountriesaroundtheworld?WhatwillittaketoseetheAmericanDreamcometrueforourchildrenandgrandchildren?Ourpa
5、rentsandgrandparentsaskedthemselvesthosequestions.Andbecausetheyhadthecouragetoanswerthem,we'vehadthegoodfortunetogrowupinthegreatestnationonEarth.Nowifsourturntothinkaboutthefuture.Inafewdays,anewCongresswillform,withonehousecontrolledbyDemocrats,andonehousecontrolledbyRepublicans一w
