3、ensiveexitexaminations.Consequently,Europeanuniversitiesareforspecializationonlyandexcludegeneraleducationcomponents,Studentsoftenfollowastrictandrigidcurriculuminbathhighschoolandcollegethatallowsfarveryfewelectives.[3]TheeducationalsystemintheUnitedStatesstandsapartfromtherestoftheworld,howe

5、ing(unliketheirstate-sponsored,largelytuitiofreeEuropeancounterparts)mustcompeteforstudents.Marketforcesthereforecompelcurricularorganization,tobecenteredonstudenfcustomers^,Universitiesmustteachinastudent-sensitivemannerandoffer,shopping・maltstyle,agreatvarietyofcoursesthatwillattractasmanyst
