3、fen’sParadox’andothersthatIchosethemajorofEconomicsasmyfirstchoicebeforetheUniversityEntranceExamination.Unlikemyclassmates,whosemajorisusuallydecidedbytheirparents,IfollowedthevoiceofmyheartandIamdeterminedtopersistintheend.WithmyeducationatXXX,Iwasnotonlysolidlygrounded
4、inthefundamentals,butalsofoundaverysupportiveenvironment.Luckily,myclassmatesareallverycapableandself-motivated;wehaveourstudygroupsanddoresearchtogether.Duringmyjunioryear,teamingupwithfourstudents,IdidresearchonthetopicofhowtoeffectivelystimulateChina’seconomybyincreasi
5、ngthedemandofresidents.Myresponsibilityincludedcollectingdata,reviewingrelevantmagazinesandassistingintheestablishmentoftheeconomicmodel.Thepaperofourco-effortgotapprovedbyXXXFund—afundofferedbyXXXtopotentialresearchprograms.Ialsoreadalotofclassicaleconomicworks,including
6、ProfessorLarryH.P.Lang’sbookslike‘WhoissavingChina’seconomy’.Throughextensivereadingandgroupresearch,theynotonlyhelpmedevelopgoodstudyhabitsandperformwellenoughtogetthescholarship,butalsobroadenmyperspectiveandgivemenewinsightsintothedepthofmyfield.Ididnotlimitmyselftoaca
7、demicstudiesattheuniversity.Forexample,Ididhometutoringforastudentfromotheruniversityformicroeconomicsandhelpedherpasstheexam.Shesaidsomehowlearningfromme,itiseasierforhertounderstandallthecomplicatedgraphsandformulas.IvolunteeredtoserveattheseventhAcademyofSocialSciences
