2、gyu@gmail.comAbstract—Accurate,reliableandfasttroubleshootingforinductancebetweeneachloopandself-inductionparameters.motordrivesystemusedinhybridelectricvehicle(HEV)isanSincethemagneticcircuitofthemotorconsistsofairgapandeffectivewaytoimprovethevehicle’sperformance.Todiagnoseferromagneticm

3、aterialswhichconcernedwiththesaturationsomefaultsofPMSMinHEV,afinite-elementmodeloflevel,theparameterscalculationiscomplex,especiallyforpermanentmagnetsynchronousmotor(PMSM)withpartialmotorparametersinpartialfailures.Inordertosolvethisdemagnetizationfaultsorstatorinterturnfaultswasestablis

4、hed.Faultcharacteristicswereextractedfromvoltageorcurrentproblem,thefaultcharacteristicparametersaresimulatedandfailuresignals,whichcanprovidereferencesforsamefaultsanalyzedduringthemotorrunningunderfaultstatesthroughdetection.establishingthefiniteelementsimulationmodelsoastorealizethefaul

5、tdiagnosisforthemotorwithlocalfailuresinI.INTRODUCTIONthissection.APMSMiswidelyusedinHEVduetoitshighpowerAmodelof20kWPMSMwithbuilt-intangentialmagnetdensityandhighefficiencyforlimitedspaceinvehicles[1,2].pathisbuilt,asshowninFigure1.Ithas8polesand48slots.AsoneofthemaindrivesourcesinHEV,the

6、PMSMneedstoThenumberofturnsis24for1-phase.Theresistanceof1-start,stop,accelerateanddeceleratefrequentlywithhighphaseis0.013Ωandtheleakageinductionis0.0061mH.torqueatlowspeedorlowtorqueathighspeed,aswellastoshiftspeedwithinawiderangewhichresultsinPMSMfaultsoccurrence.Hencetheoperatingstates

7、ofPMSMneedtobemonitoredaswellasitsfaultcharacteristicsarenecessarytobeinvestigated.AccordinglyitisvitaltodiagnoseandeliminatethesefaultsofthePMSMinHEVquicklythroughdetectingtherelatedfaultcharacteristics.AmotorfaultdetectionmethodforHEVshouldtobesimpleandeffec
