2、hodsintendedespeciallyforproblemswheretheJacobianmatrixatthesolutionissingularorill-conditioned.Theybaseeachiterationonaquadraticmodelofthenonlinearfunction,thestandardlinearmodelaugmentedbyasimplesecondorderterm.Thesecondordertermisselectedsothatthemodelinterpolatesfunctionvaluesfroms
3、everalpreviousiterations,aswellasthecurrentfunctionvalueandJacobian.Thetensormethodrequiresnomorefunctionandderivativeinformationperiterationandhardlymorestorageorarithmeticperiteration,thanastandardmethodbasedonNewton'smethod.Inextensivecomputationaltests,atensoralgorithmissignificant
