4、chaccountedforoverone-thirdofglobalfisheriesproduction,andChinafisheryhasplayedanimportantroleinaquaticproducttradeoftheworld(Wang,2005,2006).ItisnoteworthythatthequalityandsafetyofaquaticproductsbecamethemostimportantissuesoffoodsupplyespeciallyinChinawiththeconsu
5、mers’increasingrequirementsinthe21stcenturywhichincludesuchfactorsasurgencyoffoodsecurity,therapidrhythmoflife,inhancednutritionandhealthconsciousnessandthediversifedconsumptionlevelandstructure.SituationandDiscussionInordertosolvetheseriousbottleneckproblemswhichi
6、nfluenceditsdomesticeconomicandsocialdevelopment,Chinawillgiveprioritytotechnologicaldevelopmentinthefieldofauqaculturefrom2006to2020.Accordingtotheoutlineofanationalprogram,theimplementationwillbefocusedon11majorsectorsasfollows:healthanddiseasecontrolforaquaticpr
7、oduction,fine-processinganddeep-processingaswellasmodernstorageandtransportationforaquaticproducts,comprehensiveexplorationandutilizationofbiologicalresourcesofaquaculturalindustries,developmentofenvironment-friendlyfarming,foodsafetyconcerningimportandexportinspec
