3、sses,products,organizationaltechnologiesandmanagementskills,andassuchcanprovideastrongimpetustoeconomicdevelopment.Foreigndirectinvestment,initsclassicdefinition,isdefinedasacompanyfromonecountrymakingaphysicalinvestmentintobuildingafactoryinanotherc
4、ountry.Thedirectinvestmentinbuildings,machineryandequipmentisincontrastwithmakingaportfolioinvestment,whichisconsideredanindirectinvestment.Inrecentyears,givenrapidgrowthandchangeinglobalinvestmentpatterns,thedefinitionhasbeenbroadenedtoincludetheacq
