3、istics(i.e.ruralresidence,employmentstatus,age,educationalattainmentofthehouseholdhead,householdsize,shareoffemalestudentsandprimaryschoolstudentsinthehousehold,andtotalnumberofstudentsinthehousehold)toexamineifandtowhatextentthedeterminantsofeducationalexpendituresdifferbyincomegroups;
4、incomeelasticitiesofeducationalspendingevolvesovertime;andchildrenfrommiddle-classandpoorfamiliescanbenefitenoughfromeducationalopportunities.Theestimatedexpenditureelasticitieshavelowervaluesforthetop・andthebottom-incomequartileswhiletheyhavelargervaluesforthemiddle-incomequartiles.The
