2、人性及其进化。人类要学会友好相处、携手合作，才能克服危机，走出困境。但目前由于宗教而产生的国家、族群、集团之问的利益冲突仍然不断发生，隔膜、对立乃至仇恨的情绪仍然存在。因此，对于宗教的研究应该引起更加广泛的重视。美国是宗教气氛最浓厚的一个国家。2004年一项盖洛普调查显示，大约41％的美国人都至少每星期参加一次宗教活动。可见宗教是美国传统价值观念的主要载体和美国社会文化的极为重要的组成部分，研究美国宗教是美国研究领域极为重要的一项基础理论工作。除非认识到宗教的内在影响，否则人们无法全面理解美国这个国家的思想和

3、行为模式。宗教从美国建国开始至今对人们思想的震撼是根本性的，这种功能或影响决不只是在道德层面上，在政体的确立、民主制度的促进等方面乃至于其对科学的发展、不同信仰的冲突等等亦都是不可忽视的。研究宗教对美国社会的正负面影响，能够对美国的宗教进行解析，使我们更深层次地加深对美国社会的了解；还可为中国宗教事业扬长避短地发展提供借鉴。关键词：宗教；美国社会；正负面影响作者：孙新征指导教师：钮菊生TheStudyofInfluencesofReligiononAmericanSocietyAbstractEversinc
