2、ellentheatresistance,stiffness,dimensionalstabilityandlowabsorptionofwater.Butitmustbemodifiedtobeusedinindustryduetoitsmelttemperatureishigherthanthedecompositiontemperature.Thecomonomersmostlyusedcomefrompetroleum,theproductionprocessiscomplexandthecostishigh.Inthispap

3、er,PA6T/11copolyamidewaspreparedbymeltpolymerizationwhichwasmuchsimplerandusing11-AminoundecanoicAcidcomefromcastoroilasthecomonome匚PA6Tsaltwasfirstlyprepared,theeffectofthetemperatureandthevalueofpHonitwerealsodiscussedtodeterminethesalt-formingprocess.Theinfraredspectr

4、umofitwasanalyzed.ThenPA6T/11copolyamidewassuccessfullypreparedusingPA6Tsaltand11-AminoundccanoicAcidbymeltpolymerization・Thebestpolymerizationprocesswasdeterminedbyanalyzingthevariationofintrinsicviscosityandmeltingtemperatureofthesyntheticpolymers.Theinfraredspectruman

5、alysiswascarriedoutforPA6T/11copolyamide.ThethermalandcrystallizationpropertiesofPA6T/11polyamidewerestudied.ThetestresultofthethermalpropertyshowedthatthemeltingtemperaturesofPA6T/11withdifferentcontentof11-AminoundecanoicAcidwerehighandlessthanthedecompositiontemperatu

6、re.Andthethermaldecompositiontemperaturewerehigherthan450°C.Thisnotonlyconformstotherequirementsofthehightemperatureresistantmaterial,butalsomakestheprocessingwindowwidewhichcanreducetheprocessingdifficulty.ThecrystalmorphologyofPA6T/11copolyamideswereobservedbypolarizat

7、ionmicroscope,thenfindmanymicrocrystallitesinthephotos.AndthecrystallizationbehaviorofPA6T/11wasstudied,itsnon-isothermalcrystallizationkineticswasanalyzedbyMomethodandthevalueofF(T)andawerecalculated・TheresultsshowthatMomethodwasappropriatetodescribethenonisothermalcrys
