1、图书管理系统是典型的信息管理系统（简称MIS）,其开发主要包括后台数据库的建立和维护以及前端的应用程序的开发两个方面，对于前者耍求建立数据一致性和完整性强、数据安全性好的数据库，对于后者要求应用程序功能完备，易使用等特点。本图书管理系统是利用计算机管理信息处理的迅速、准确、可靠且具有强人存储能力的突出特点，全面提高图书馆的管理水平和工作效率，并以及时、完整的业务经营资料，为图书馆的及时转换提供一定的支持，本图书管理系统涵盖了八个主要了系统：基础信息维护，读者管理，图书管理，期刊管理，图书流通管理，期刊流通管理
2、，统计分析管理和系统管理，并通过信息的收集、整理、存储、传递将它们有机的结合起来，提高了工作的准确性和效率。本系统釆用VisualStudio2005和SQLServer2000数据库进行开发，并从需求分析，系统分析设计到程序实现及运行等方面阐述了图书管理系统的开发过程，满足该系统的设计需求。关键字：图书管理；VisualStudio2005；SQLServer2000；数据库；ABSTRACTThebooksmanagementinformationsystemisthetypicalinformation
