3、eatlymarvelledatthisfeatamongstmanyothers.MyinterestinchemistryhasbeenfurtherstimulatedasIhavecontinuedtolearnmoreaboutthecharacteristicsoftheindividualelements,thenatureoftheiratoms,andhowtheyformfamiliarchemicalcompoundsthatareparticularlycriticaltotheexistenceof
4、lifeandthepracticeofmedicine.ArrivingatthedecisiontostudyAppliedChemistrytookmequitesometime.ThiswasbecauseIwasdeterminedtofindoutwheremyinterestsreallylieasIexcelledinmostofmySciencesubjects.However,IknewthatIloveexperimentinginChemistryandalsothatitisoneofmyfavou
5、ritesubjects.Idutifullyattendedanumberofcareersessionsandopendaysforsciencesubjectsatvariousuniversities,andtheonesfocussingonChemistryleftalastingimpressiononme.Also,Itooktimetovisitoneortwocommercialchemistry-orientedlaboratoriesinmyareatotalkwiththechemiststhere
6、.Theirexperienceshavereinforcedmyloveforthesubject.TheyhelpedmetounderstandthewidevarietyofcareersavailableforagraduatewithagoodknowledgeofChemistry,i.e.research,pharmaceuticals,andevenenvironmentalmanagement.Theprospectofacareerinresearchandpharmaceuticalsisofgrea
7、tinteresttome.Atthispoint,IwasfinallyconvincedthatstudiesinChemistryandacareerinresearchinthesamesubjectiswhatIwantedtopursue,thisislargelyduetomyloveforChemistryasascience.MyinterestinChemistrywasconsolidatedbymyworkexperienceatChangZhouUniversityChemistryDepartme
