3、stry,andtransportation—tohelpdisplaceoilandcoal,therebyreducinggreenhousegasemissionsandimprovingairquality.Beyondprovidingacleaner,market-readyalternativetooilandcoal,naturalgascanfacilitatethesystemicchangesthatwillunderpinthedevelopmentofamoreenergy-efficientandrenewableenergy-basede
4、conomy.Forexample,smaller,distributedgenerators,manyproducingusableheataswellaselectricity,couldgenerateeconomical,low-emissionreplacementsforalargefractionofcurrentlyoperatingconventionalpowerplants,providingflexibleback-uptothevariableoutputofthesolarandwindgeneratorsthatwillcomprisea
