3、andisbrieflydescribedinthe1994reportpresentedinStJohn's,Newfoundland,Canada.Thepaperprovidesfulldocumentationofthecasestudy..Analyticalresultswereprovidedby10differentinstitutionsforaCoflexipflexibleriserdesign.Theseresultsarecomparedwithavailableexperimentaldata.Despitethecomplexity

4、oftheflexiblerisercross-section,thevariousmethodsusedbytheparticipantsbroadlyagreewiththeexperimentaldatafortheaxial-torsionalstructuralresponseprovidedthatlayerinteractionwastakenintoaccountinthevariousmodels.However,significantdifferencesintheresultswereobservedwiththeflexuralstruc
