2、连词。该词组常与过去时、过去完成时连用。如：Theyheardofitlongbefore.IknowyourbrotherlongbeforeIknewyou.2.force;makeforce和make均有“迫使”之义,但有区别。force常含有暴力威胁之意,常用于“force+名词/代词+带to的不定式”结构。如：Whenhewasstillayoungman,hewasforcedtoleavehishomelandforpoliticalreasons.ThePLAmenforcedtheenemytosurrender(投降)・make所表示的迫使意义没有for
