3、aveenabledwordofmouthtobesharedamongstmillionofpotentialcustomers,onethereforecanarguethatelectronicwordofmouth(e-wom)hasbeenthesuccessorofthetraditionalwordofmouth.Howeverrecentincreaseofm-commerceandthedevelopmentofcheapandeasySmartphonetechnologysuggeststhatt

4、henextstageofe-Womistheuseofvideobloggingasamethodofsharinghospitalityrelatedexperiences.Thepaperexploresthethesisthatwordofvideowillbethenaturalevolutionofe-wominhospitality.Itattemptstoexplorethisbycomparingresponsestoatextreviewofarestaurantversusavideoreview

5、ofthesamerestaurant.Participantsoftheexperimentareinvitedtoeithercommentonthetextrevieworthevideoreviewandtheresultsfromthetwosamplesarecompared.Earlyfindingssuggestthathospitalityusersfindpicturesmoreusefulandtrustworthyfollowedbytextreviews.Videobloggingcomeso

6、nlythirdintermsoftrustworthinessandusefulness.ThefindingsarealsovalidatedbyqualitativecommentsleftbyLinkedInusers.Finallyfindingsfromthissampleshowasignificancedifferencewhenitcomestohotelpurchaseintentionsversusrestaurantvisitintentions,thisfindingmaysuggesttha
