3、.g.,lettuceandoranges)forpesticideanalysis.Inthepresentstudy,theQuEChERSmethodwassuccessfullyappliedtotheIntroductiondeterminationofthenaturalpyrethrins(cinerinIandII,jasmolinIandII,andpyrethrinIandII),aswellastwoPyrethroidinsecticidesaresyntheticderivativ
4、esofpyreth-pyrethroidinsecticides,cypermethrinanddeltamethrin,inrins,whicharenaturallyoccurringcompoundsproducedbyfinandnon-finfishproducts.Analysisofthesecompoundschrysanthemumplants(Tanacetumcinerarieafoliumorwasperformedusinggaschromatography–massspectr
5、om-Chrysanthemumcinerariifolium)[1,2].Owingtotheiretry.Althoughcypermethrinisnotandhasnotbeenbroadspectruminsecticidalactivity,thepyrethroidshaveregisteredforpestcontroluseinaquacultureoperationsinbeenusedwidelythroughouttheworldforinsectcontrolinCanada,cy
6、permethrinwasdetectedindomesticallypro-agricultureandtocombathumanandanimalparasites[1,3,ducedsalmon.Cypermethrinwasdetectedinsevenofthe4].Pyrethroidsexhibitselectiveinsecticidalactivity,but18Canadianfarmedsalmonsamples(39%),althoughittheyarerapidlyexcrete
7、dbymammalsanddegradedinthewasnotdetectedinanywilddomesticsalmon(n=3).environment[5].Cypermethrinconcentrationsrangedfrom0.3to6.5ng/ginSpecificuseofpyrethroidsforthecontrolofsealicethepositivesamples.Itwasnot,however,observedinany(Caliguselongatus)onsalmon(
