2、orsolvinganisotropic,linear,elasticsolidstructureispresented.Basedonthesimpleknowledgeofthemechanicsofmaterials,themodelconsidersanewelementcalledthe“Ke”element.Thiselementisatruss,andthesolidstructureisconsideredtoconsistofmanysuch“Ke”elements.Thusthesolidstruct
3、urebecomesatrussstructure,andtheinternalforcesanddisplacementsofthesolidstructurecanbefoundbycalculatingthistrussstructure.Thephysicalsenseofthisnewmethodisclear,anditisverysimpleandwonderful.Thepapernotonlyprovidesanewmethodforsolvingasolidstructure,butalsorevea
4、lsthemechanicalmechanismofasolidbody.Keywords:solidstructure,theoryofelasticity,mechanicsofmaterials,KeelementINTRODUCTIONThetheoryofelasticityisamechanicsforstudyingelastic(mainlyisotropic,linear,elasticmaterials)solidstructures.Forthecalculationoflinearelastics
5、olidstructuresusingtheknowledgeofthetheoryofelasticity,anexactsolutionbasedontheanalyticalmethodcanonlybeobtainedforafeweasyproblems.Therefore,anumericalmethod,forexample,thefiniteelementmethodorthefinitedifferencemethod,isgenerallyusedformostproblems.Thesetwomet
6、hodsareverycomplicated[1].Basedonthesimpleknowledgeofthemechanicsofmaterials[2],asimplenewmethodforsolvinganisotropic,linear,elasticsolidstructureispresentedhere.NEWMETHODOneinfinitesimalregularhexahedronelement(Fig.1)isarbitrarilytakenfromthesolidstructure,theth
7、eoryofelasticitybeingbasedonthestaticequilibrium,deformationandconstitutiverelationsoftheelement.First,amodelofanewelement,calledheretheKeelement,issetup.TheKeelementincludestheKe-1element(Fig.2)andtheKe-2element(Fig.4(a)).TheKe-1element(whichisadoptedforspatiale
