2、ntResidenceinChina外国人在上海申请在中国永久居留APPLICATIONforpermanentresidenceinChina(“TheApplication”)isnotthesameastoapplicationforChinesecitizenship.TheApplicationreferstoforeignersthatmetparticularconditionsspecifiedbylawscouldapplyforpermanentresidenceinChin
3、a,i.e.theapplicantmaystayinChinawithoutanytimelimitwithsuchapproval.TheForeigner’sPermanentResidencePermitisthevalididentificationcertificateofanyforeignerwhoobtainspermanentresidencestatusinChina.Itcanbeusedindependentlyonitsown.Foreignerswhohaverec
4、eivedpermanentresidencestatuscantraveloutofChineseterritorywithvalidpassportandtheForeigner’sPermanentResidencePermit.外国人申请中国永久居留权非指外国人申请加入中国国籍。外国人申请在中国永久居留是指符合特定条件的外国人可以申请在中国永久居留，即外国人此类申请经批准后其在中国居留的期限将不受限制。《外国人永久居留证》是获得在中国永久居留资格的外国人在中国境内居留的合法身份证件，可以
