5、gnantastrocyticbraintumorsareamongthemostlethalcancers.Quiescentandtherapy-resistantneuralstemcell(NSC)-likecellsinastrocytomasarelikelytocontributetopooroutcome.Malignantoligodendroglialbraintumors,incontrast,aretherapysensitive.Usingmagneticresonanceimaging(MRI)anddetaileddev
6、el-opmentalanalyses,wedemonstratedthatmurineoligodendrogliomacellsshowcharacteristicsofoligoden-drocyteprogenitorcells(OPCs)andaretherapysensitive,andthatOPCratherthanNSCmarkersenrichedfortumorformation.MRIofhumanoligodendrogliomaalsosuggestedawhitematter(WM)origin,withmarkersf
