3、erimentedonapilotscaletotesttheireciencyinremovingpollutingsubstancesfromwastewatersoftextileindustries.Bothpilotplantsusedreproducedverycloselyafull-scaletreatmentinordertoobtainindicationsaboutthefeasibilityofatransferonindustrialscale.Bymeansofozonetreatmentveryhighcolourremoval(95±99%)
4、wasachievedandtreatedwaterswerereusedsatisfactorilyindyeingevenwithlightcolours.Thisevidencedespitethefactthatthechemicaloxygendemandoftreatedwaterswasstillinarange(75±120mg/l,adecreaseupto60%)thatwasusuallyconsideredtobetoohighforrecyclingpurposes,especiallyfordyeinglightcolours.Treatingp
5、lantsworkingattheabove-mentionedconditionsshouldguaranteelowoperatingcosts.Abiologicalpre-treatmentandasand®ltrationareabsolutelyessential.Thetransferonindustrialscaleofthetreatmentiscurrentlyunderdevelopmentunderanalready®nancedEuropeanproject.Electrochemicaltreatmentshowedtobeveryecienti
