2、ing.Inthispaper,weproposealgorithmsfortexture-basedvolumerenderingacceleratedbytexturehullsthatavoidthetransferringandcompositingofemptyvoxels.Wehavedevelopedmethodsthatefficientlyfindalltheboundingrectanglesofthenon-emptyregionsaswellastheboundingcontoursth
3、atmoreaccu-ratelydescribethebordersofthenon-emptyregions.Thebound-ingshapesaretreatedasthehullsofthenon-emptysub-textures.Texelsoutsidethehullsareskippedforstoringandrendering.Withouraccelerations,therenderingspeedis2to12timesfasterforavarietyofdatasets.Ke
