2、omAugust2015toApril2016,anddiscusshowsimilarenterprisescanapplythelearningstosecureenergyefficiencyintheirownplants.BACKGROUNDTOTHEPROJECTTheprojectbynumbersChinahasbeenworkingonindustrialenergyefficiencyforadecade.Initiallythemajorfocuswasthereplacementofoutdatedeq
3、uipmentAcrossthethreepilotfacilities,around30,000metrictonsofbut,toimprovetheresults,theChineseGovernmentstipulatedingreenhousegaseswereavoidedasaresultoftheproject.its12thFive-YearPlan(2011-2015)thatallsignificantenergyconsumersshouldestablishanenergymanagementsyst
4、em(EnMS).Oneofthepilotfacilities,LuopingZincandElectricityCompanyWhilethisnewruleencouragedthedevelopmentofpolicies,Ltd,madeenergysavingsofaround800,000kWhbetweenregulationsandguidelines,therewerelimitedchangesonthefactoryAugust2015andJanuary2016,amountingtosavingso
5、faroundfloor.ThebarriersforenterprisesincludedalimitedunderstandingRMB320,000.aboutEnMSanditsvalue,previousunsuccessfulattempts,andaYunnanProvincehas399enterprisesthatarelargeenoughtopaucityofskilledthird-partyserviceproviders.classifyasa“Top-10,000Enterprise”andthe
6、yconsumedatotalTodemonstratehowEnMScouldbeimplementedsuccessfully,IIPofaround58milliontonsofcoalequivalent(tce)ofenergyinwasinvitedbytheIndustrialandInformationCommission(IIC)in2014.IftheyallimplementedaneffectiveenergymanagementYunnanProvincetoconductapilotproject.
7、Theaimofthisprojectsystem,theycouldsaveatleast4.6milliontceperyear;whilethewastoestablishaneffectiveEnMSinthreepilotenterprises.DozenswholeofChinacouldsave184milliontceannually.ofenterprisessubmittedapplicationstobepartoftheproject.YunnanIIChelpedscreenandshortlistf
