3、aturalisationofphenomenology,i.e.,ofthepos-sibilityofintegratingphenomenologyintothenaturalisticparadigm.Significantlylessattentionhasbeendevotedtothecomplementaryprocessofthephenomenologisationofnature,i.e.,ofa(potentiallyradical)transformationofthetheoreticalandexistent

4、ialunderpinningsofthenaturalistframework.>Problem•Theaimofthisarticleistwofold.First,itprovidesageneraloverviewoftheresurgenceoffirst-personmethodologiesincognitivesciences,withaspe-cialemphasisonacircularprocessofnaturalisingphenomenologyandphenomenologisingnature.Second

5、ly,ittriestoelucidatewhattheoretical(conceptual)andpractical(existential)implicationsphenomenologicalapproachesmighthaveforthecurrentunderstandingofnatureandconsciousness.>Results•Itisarguedthat,inorderfortheinte-grationofphenomenologicalandscientificapproachestoprovesucc
