3、estillerrorsafteranumberoftransmissions,there-transmissionstopstoimprovethethroughputefficiency.Fromthereceivedwords,thedecodingprocessofproposedhybridARQfirstdetermineseachbitas1or0basedonthemajorityofthecorrespondingbitsinthereceivedwords.Thewordresultingfromvotingisthendecodedbyalge
4、braicdecoderastheoutputcodeword.SimulationresultsshowthattheproposedhybridARQschemeoutperformsARQschemeinbotherror-correctingperformanceandthroughputefficiency,particularlyunderlowSNR.Additionally,acriterionintermsofthroughputandcodinggainisproposedforoverallevaluationofhybridARQscheme
5、scomparedtothatofARQscheme.Comparisonsbetweenplurality-basedhybridARQandmajority-basedhybridARQarealsomadeonthebasisofproposedhybridcodinggain.Keywords:hybridARQ,throughput,majorityvoting,codinggain.1IntroductionBasically,communicationsbetweenpeoplearemisunderstoodbyoneanothermostofthe
