3、likesmartphonesandtablets,andtacklingthechallengewithassistancefromproxies(cloud),theradioaccessnetwork(RAN).Whileprocessingcapabili-achievingaresponsiveandenergyecientbrowsingexpe-tiesofmobiledeviceshavedramaticallyimprovedinrecentrienceremainsanelusivegoal.Inthispaper,wemakeayears,mobiledevic

4、ebatteryenergyseemslikelytoremainfreshattemptataddressingthechallengebyproposingPAR-amajorresourcelimitationfortheforeseeablefuture.CEL.PARCELsplitsfunctionalitybetweenthemobilede-viceandtheproxybasedontheirrespectivestrengths,andSeveralfactorsmakecurrentapproachestowebdown-inamannerdistinctfrom

5、bothtraditionalbrowsersandex-loadsill-suitedtocellularnetworks(x2).Ontheonehand,istingcloud-heavyapproaches.Weconductextensiveeval-webpagesconsistofhundredsofobjectsspreadovermulti-uationsoveranoperationalLTEnetworkusingaprototypepleserverdomains,anddownloadingpagesinvolvesalargeimplementationof

6、PARCEL.OurresultsshowthatPAR-numberofHTTPrequest-responseinteractions.OntheCELreducespageloadtimesby49.6%,andradioenergyotherhand,cellularnetworksinvolvelargeround-triptimesconsumptionby65%comparedtotraditionalmobilewebresultinginsubstantiallylongerdownloadtimescomparedbrowsers.Further,ourresult

7、sshowthatPARCELcontin-towire-line.Thedelaysareexacerbatedsinceinitialob-uestoperformwellunderclientinteractions,owingtoitsjectsfetchedduringthedownload(e.g.,HTML,stylesheetsjudiciousfunctionalitysplit.(CSS),JavaScript(JS))ma
