3、tapproachwasconsideredin[4],wherethethatinIPnetworkstheroutingalgorithmsareaninputtotheoptimizationproblem,conceptoflightpathwasextendedtoaLight-Tree,whichisatrans-notanoptimizationtarget.Wethenprovideamixedintegerlinearprogrammingparentone-to-manypipeinwhichinjectedpacketsarepassivelyrepli-formul
4、ationoftheoptimizationproblem,whichhoweverleadstounacceptablyhighcatedanddeliveredtothelight-treeend-points.Thisapproachre-complexityfornetworksofnon-triviallysmallsize.Wethenproposebothgreedyliesontheavailabilityofmulticastcapabilitiesinthephysicallayer,andmetaheuristicapproachesforthesub-optimal
5、designoflogicaltopologieswithacceptablecomplexity.Finally,wederivelowerboundsthatallowtheassessmentwhichseemdifficulttoobtain.Inaddition,theperformanceoflight-oftheperformanceoftheproposedalgorithms.Somenumericalresultsindicatetreebasedsolutions,withmultiplepacketflowssharingonelight-thattheproposed
