4、ribedasSouthernGothicandindicativeofhersouthernroots.However,McCullerspennedallofherworkafterleavingtheSouth,andcriticsalsodescribeherwritingandeccentriccharactersasuniversalinscope.Herstorieshavebeenadaptedtostageandfilm.AstageworkofhernovelTheMemberoftheWedding
