4、vesonseriousteachingissuesanddisheartenedbythestudents'inabilitytoanalyzeandthinkabouteverydayteachingexperiences.Iwantedtoencouragestudentstothinkcriticallyaboutteachingandreflectupontheirownbeliefsandpracticesintheclassroom.Severalmusicteachereducatorshaverecentlywrittenarticlessupportingtheuse

5、ofcasestudymethodologytopromotecriticalthinkinginthemusicmethodsclassroom.Theseteachereducatorsseemtoagreethatcase-studymethodologystimulatesclassroomdiscussions,encouragescriticalthinking,andprovidesimpetusforreflectivedecisionmaking.(1)Whilecase-studymethodologyisfairlynewtomusicteachereducatio
