3、stheyhavetakenshowrealinno-vation,andinafewshortyearssomeofthecompanieshavesurprisedeventhemselveswiththepositiveresultstheyhavebeenabletoachieve.WWFcommendstheexamplethesecorporationsaresettingtotheirshareholders,theiremployees,theircustomersandthei

4、ndustrialsectorsandcommunitiestheyoperatein.ClimateSavers–BusinessPartnersInnovativeSolutionsforaLivingPlanetShareholders,customersandthemediawanttoknowwhethercom-paniesarefacinguptotherealityofclimatechangerisk.Aretheypreparingforthefuturewiththeiro

6、tofnormalbusinesspracticeasthecostofCO2emissionsrise.WWFisworkingwithcutting-edgecompanieskeentoturnnecessityintoabusinessadvantage.WebelievethereareenormousopportunitiesforbusinessestoimprovetheirstandingandtheirbottomlinethroughactionsthatcutCO2emi

7、ssions.WearguethattheactionscompaniesneedtotaketoreduceCO2emissionsareentirelycompatiblewiththeiraimofimprovingshareholderandstakeholdervalue.AttheClimateSaversConferenceinFebruary2007companiesandWWFshowedthattheyareoncoursetoeliminateatleasttenmilli
