3、hinafatiguelifeofthemechanism.Stressconcentrationfactorscharacterizethestressconcen-trationsinflexurehinges,providingananalyticalandefficientwaytoevaluatetheXiaoyuanLiumaximumstress.Inthiswork,byusingtheratiooftheradiusofcurvatureofthestress-SchoolofElectro
4、-MechanicalEngineering,concentratingfeaturetotheminimumthicknessastheonlyfittingvariable,generalizedXidianUniversity,equationsforboththebendingandtensionstressconcentrationfactorswereobtainedforXi’an,Shaanxi710071,Chinatwogeneralizedmodels,theconicmodeland
5、theelliptic-arc-filletmodel,throughfittingthefiniteelementresults.Theequationsareapplicabletocommonlyusedflexurehingesincludingcircular,elliptic,parabolic,hyperbolic,andvariouscorner-filletflexurehinges,withacceptableerrors.Theempiricalequationsaretractableande
