5、andDOI.modes.Inparticular,forlong-rangephononscorrespondingtoacommonbath,thedynamicsofthe‘brightstate’(thecollectivesuperpositionofmolecularvibrationscouplingtothecavitymode)iseffectivelydecoupledfromothersystemeigenstates.Forthecaseofindependentbaths(orshort-rangephonons),incoherenten
6、ergytransferoccursbetweenthebrightstateandtheuncoupleddarkstates.However,theseprocessesaresuppressedwhentheRabisplittingislargerthanthefrequencyrangeofthebathmodes,asachievedinarecentexperiment(Shalabneyetal2015Nat.Commun.65981).Inbothcases,thedynamicscanthusbedescribedthroughasingleco
