6、atradiofrequencyinterferencecanbemitigatedusingaphasedarrayfeedinconjunctionwithalargere°ector.Aphasedarrayfeedwouldallowradioastronomerstoobservefaintersignalsthaniscurrentlypossible,whileatthesametimeenablingrapidskysurveys.Aphasedarrayfeedwasdesignedandsimulated,andsensitivityoptimizatio

7、nwasperformedonthearrayfeed.Itwasshownthathighersensitivitycanbeachievedusinga7-elementphasedarrayfeedthanwithaconventionalwaveguidefeed.SimulationswereranusingRFImitigationalgorithmsonthearraytoshowthatinterferencecancellationcan,inprinciple,beperformed
