3、eprovidesanoverviewoftheworkcarriedoutandpresentsexamplesoftheresultsachieved.Europeancooperativeresearchtotalefficiency,beingtheproductofthelationandinterferencedrag,buttheprogrammeinthefieldofae-propulsiveefficiencyandthethermallevelofthenacelledraginfluencesther

4、odynamicengine/airframeefficiencyoftheengine,showsthattheoptimumbypassratio(figure1)..integrationwasstartedinlargerpotentialforimprovementist1990underthenameDUPRINattainedbyincreasingthebypassratio(DLJctedPRopfanINvestigation).Itwas(BPR).Thismeanshavinglargerengine

5、ProgrammeobjectivescarriedoutaspartoftheEuropeandiametertoincreasetheairmassflowInviewoftheimportanceofengine-air-UnionsresearchFrameworkProgramme.throughtheby-passductrelativetoframeinterferenceeffectsforadvancedAfteritssuccessfulcompletion,afollow-thatthroughtheh

6、otinnercoreofanenginetypescurrentlyunderdevelop-upphase,DUPRIN2,startedin1994engine,withthepotentialofreducingmentforfuturetransportaircraft,theandwasfollowedbythepresentpro-thefuelconsumptionupto15%,combi-mainpurposeoftheEuropeanresearchgramme,ENIFAIR(ENgineIntegr
